Dr.Hasil Sembiring
Hasil Sembiring, Ph.D. got his Bachelor Degree from the Bogor Agriculture University in 1983. He followed his master and doctoral study in Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma, USA, and reached his degree in 1993 (M.Sc.) and 1997 (Ph.D.).
He had been involved in the world of the research since 1984 when he was assigned to Upland Agriculture and Conservation Project (UACP) in Brantas East Java. In the year 1998-1999, he was appointed as Planning Coordinator at East Java Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology. Then, he was assigned as Head of West Nusa Tenggara Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology (1999-2001) and North Sumatera Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology (2001-2005). At this moment, he is the Director of the Indonesian Center for Rice Research since 2005.
He has produced some scientific papers and articles and published in various national and international journal; obtained Outstanding Ph.D Student from Oklahoma State University (1997).
