1st Announcement of the International Maize Conference

The Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with Gorontalo Provincial Government-Republic of Indonesia are pleased to announce the International Maize Conference to  be held in Gorontalo, Sulawesi, Indonesia, 2-4 Oktober 2012. The Meeting will be jointly hosted by Indonesian Agency for Agriculture Research and Development (IAARD) and Gorontalo Provincial Government. Scientists, researchers, extension specialists, policy makers, seed, fertilizer and pesticide industries, government and non government organization, traders and other participants are invited to participate.

Venue and date: Gorontalo, Indonesia, 2-4 October 2012

Theme: Maize for food, feed and fuel

Objectives:

  1. Facilitate Stakeholders in addressing the problems of the world maize production related to food security and alternative energy resources
  2. Share and exchange ideas/information of maize research results between scientists, researchers, policy makers, industries, and farmers  from different countries in the world.
