Maize is multifunction crop that can be used for human consumption, animal feed and raw material for industrial production. In Indonesia, maize has a strategic role in agribusiness and as national staple food. This highlight the need for more attention to be directed to maize production in order to improve food security and increase agribusiness demand.

This book of maize technology innovation comprises of  (1) variety improvement, (2) integrated crop management issues, (3) nutrient management, (4) major pest and diseases, (5) post harvest technologies, (6) seed production and distribution, (7) community based seed production, and (8) dissemination.
