Carmina Papaya Variety
Carmina Papaya is categorized as super early yielding with first harvest around 1 year after planting.
Number of fruit is quite dense about 45 – 60 pieces in one season. Small sized papaya, fit for one person (one man one fruit). This fruit weight 500 – 1500 g, 17 – 24 cm long, diameter of 25 – 40 cm, 2.0 – 4.2 cm thick, and fabulous fragrant, medium ripped flesh texture, and riped fruit’s skin hardness around 0.7 up to 0.8 kg/cm2.
The existence of this variety as alternative for consumers to consume single meal papaya and is prospective to be developed by horticulture seed industry.
