Indonesian Center for Agricultural Land Resources Research and Development (ICALRRD) focuses on program formulation and research evaluation of agricultural land resources research and development, implementing cooperation and making efficient use of agricultural land resources research and development, developing system technology component and agribusiness exertion on agricultural land resources, research on remote sensing, agricultural land resources inventory, socio economic and synthezis the policy of advantaging agicultural land resources.

ICALRRD’s four institutes are Indonesian Agroclimate and Hydrology Research Institute (IAHRI), Indonesian Wetland Research Institute (IWRI), Indonesian Environmental Research Institute (IERI), and Indonesian Soil Research Institute (ISRI) which are having tasks in conducting research, attaining conservation of germ-plasm, encouraging the development of variety, Controlling pests and illness, optimalizing the developed technology of hydrology, climatology, ecology, and soil.
