Indonesian Soil Research Institute (ISRI) conducts research to develop technologies and provides information about soil resources and soil management. In addition, ISRI provides services for soil, plant, and fertilizer analyses, soil mapping, remote sensing, data analysis, tabular and spatial soil-related database and information, and other services related to information and technologies about soil research and technology development.

ISRI is one of the technical implementation units under the Indonesian Center for Agricultural Land Resources Research and Development (ICALRRD), Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD), Ministry of Agriculture.
